Bayou Classic SQ14 16 Inch Square Outdoor Patio Propane Single Burner Stove

I have been using this patio burner for canning tomatoes. It works very well with my quart jar Granite Ware water bath canner. Be aware that Bajou Classic has reduced the propane regulator to 5 lbs. The hose is 3 feet long. This product is listed with a 10 lb. regulator. The gas set-up works fine for my needs. Someone using oil for frying turkeys may require more heat. I have no experience with that use. Overall, I like the square shape and the roomy burner. It is very stable and heats my canner full of water very quickly.

Haven't used it yet, but this is my second SQ14 burner to supplement my other one in a brewing rig. I'm assuming it will perform the same, but I noticed the regulator is 5 psi vs my old one's 10 psi regulator. Luckily nothing appears damaged, which is a surprise considering it was shipped all the way cross country in a Bayou Classic outer carton with NOTHING to hold the burner/regulator assembly in place within the carton. It's not like the outer carton is the same size as the burner either. There was plenty of space for it to smash around inside the carton during shipping. I just have the feeling the way it is packaged that it was returned or something. If it works fine, great, as my other SQ14 is a capable burner for homebrewing, and a sturdy stand you can sit a 10.5 gallon pot on with plenty of capacity to spare. Walmart's price beat all, as I was able to get this for 50 bucks, shipping included.
