Spark Create Imagine Vacuum Play Set

Teachable moments are always important in a children's life as well as in their parents too, that is why I am always looking for toys that are funny and at the same time instrutive for my son. He is discovering the world around him and as a toddler he is always mimicking what my husband and I do. He loves to “clean” the house along me, it is so funny to see when he mimics what I do, if I clean the furniture, if I do the dishes or if I vacuum the house, and this last one is his favorite. But as I can not allow him to play if the real vacuum cleaner I need to find a solution so he can “help” me in this task. So when I saw this toy vacuum clear it was the solution for this problem. It is a funny and very realistic toy. It come comes with the accessories – the expandable rod, the roller head, three cleaning attachments. This toy is made of very good and resistant plastic, super colorful. This toy is so funny that even makes the noise of the real vacuum cleaner and it has the trash compartment with fake dust. Super cute. The only thing that I would like in this toy is that it should come with battery.

I chose this toy vacuum to use in my home child care playroom. It's a cute set with the look and feel of the real thing… as far as toddlers go. It came with three additional attachments and the plastic rack that it was attached to, I wasn't sure whether or not it was to be used or just for shipping purposes, but we used it to keep the vacuum stored when not in use. I just attached it to wall with heavy duty Velcro wall hangers. Once the batteries were put in we couldn't get it to work at first then realized that not only is there a trigger type button, but there is also an on/off switch. Now when it comes to the sound it makes, it's not very loud. This can be considered a good thing, in a noisy playroom full of children, but if your looking for real sounds… not so much. Other than that, it has held up nicely to the everyday use by the children in my daycare. Would I recommend this? Yes, as long as you don't mind the quiet motor sounds, (which I personally love). If your looking for louder more realistic sounding toy vacuum, this is not the one you want. Me personally, we love it!
