The objectives and methods of data collection were also explained in this chapter. The third chapter give a brief profile study area i.e. Parvatipuram Municipality. The fourth chapter deals organizational structure of Parvatipuram municipality. The fifth chapter deals with the municipal politics in Parvatipuram. The sixth chapter gives an analysis of socio, economics and political background of the councilors and their perceptions. The seventh chapter deals with the perceptions of the citizens on the politics in the municipality .The last chapter gives a summary of the study and conclusions, observations and suggestions.
