Great product, saved me a lot of time
I bought this to locate some 3/4" PVC pipe for sprinkler irrigation. My concrete contractor cut the majority of my pipes when building our new garage and forgot to flag them. I wound up digging up the remote sprinkler head and cutting off the 90 fitting, this way it was a straight feed. The pipe was about 9" underground. It worked beautifully, saved me a bunch of time digging to find the existing pipe to tap into. For fun I fed it down a pipe I know wound up getting crushed under some asphalt. On the most sensitive setting it was still able to faintly detect through asphalt. I'm not sure how well this will feed around 90 degree bends for 3/4" PVC. They ship the product with spare emitters (ends) and instructions on how to fix it. I put some sil-glide on the emitter just as a precaution to make sure it would slide past any fitting (of which I had a few couplers and T-fittings).
