I was skeptical about ordering this tension rod. I wasn't sure that it would cover the span of 96" and not give way and I was concerned that it might be bent in half when I got it. It was not bent in half but shipped in a sturdy long tube which meant it was in 1 straight piece. And it holds my lace curtains up perfectly,no bowing in the middle. I would definitely buy another one and highly recommend it.
