Good rug for the price.

Strong, attractive wool rug, great for the price. The background is a bit lighter than shown, so there's also more contrast with the medium-gray design. I think it's best in a dining room or any room where no one will be sitting on the floor for long, because it's not plush.

The rug itself was very nice for the price. However, it had such a strong and offensive musty/mildew odor we had to remove it from the house right after we opened it. We kept it In the garage and put it outside In sunny 60 degree weather during the day for 5 days. The smell consumed the the whole garage during this time with no improvement. On the 6th day we used a powder carpet deodorizer specifically for musty/mildew odor with no improvement. Today we threw the rug away as there was no way we could bring it in the house. Since we used a powder deodorizer on it, I did not feel we could return it. Very unfortunate since we did like the rug.
