These are really well-made dishes, with a beautiful, elegant design. They don't get too hot in the microwave, they are sturdy yet not too heavy. A part of me wishes the gold rim was black instead, but I also think the gold color brings it up a notch. I don't know how they will hold up over time, but I'm hopeful they will do well. Walmart, please restock these so I can order one more and make a complete 8-set!
