Fits Earlier Model 1996 Jeep Cherokee

This is what we needed for a faulty brake light on our 96 Jeep Cherokee (Sport). Every time I googled the part needed for our Jeep, I would get a different result that wasn't compatible. But once I asked AI, it turns out that our model was most likely manufactured in early 1996, when they were still using parts from 1995, until they transitioned to using the newer parts (those from my Google search results) in mid-to-late 1996. So, YMMV on whether or not this will fit your 96 Jeep Cherokee.
