The new Z Grills pellet grill I purchased from Walmart has been great, so far. I have only had it one week and used it three times. It replaces a Green Mountain Daniel Boone I had for 11 years. It finally quit and I had to go shopping for a replacement. I looked at all the major brands and decided to go with Z Grills, based on accurate temperature control, ease of cleaning, and price. I was somewhat hesitant because I could not find anyone who had one in stock, so I had to solely rely on the description and reviews. Fortunately, they all seemed to be accurate. It is built as well as any of the other major brands in this class was was relatively easy to assemble. I am especially impressed with the temperature control. Once it reaches the set temperature, it stays right on it.

Love my smoker!

I never thought I would enjoy a smoker, well I was completely wrong! We use this unit constantly! If I were to do this purchase over I would go for a unit with wifi so I could use the app to monitor the cook. No other regrets though! The only drawback is the clean up after using the unit, the grates are a stubborn clean but, it's all good!

It's always hard for me to buy things like this without being able to put my hands on the product for a sense of the quality. I purchased based on reviews and I'm so glad I did. Extremely impressed with the quality of this grill and the reviews did not lie. I had zero issues with damage during shipping which was another thing I feared because Fedex is fedex. The Fedex guy even asked me if I wanted help getting it inside! I didn't need help, but beware of the product weight because the grill is heavy. I used a handtruck to get it to my backyard. Putting together was straightforward following the instructions and there was not a single component during assembly that made me think "cheapness" or poor quality control. The attention to every detail in the design of this grill surpassed my hopes even down to the hardware. No cheap easily stripped screws. Obviously don't use a driver or anything over-the-top like that to screw together. When I first ordered it I immediately looked at better quality covers thinking this thing must be coming with a cheap cover. Nope. Even the cover is satisfactory in terms of quality and it should last for a bit if removed/replaced with appropriate care. So far I've only used it to cook a BBQ bacon wrapped pork tenderloin and I was impressed by the wood flavor. Used Traeger gourmet blend pellets. Before this pellet grill I used a charcoal smoker. Using this grill was SO much easier and less tedious. Set it and "forget it." I still monitored with probes on the left and right side and one in the meat to get a sense of temp variations. Once it reached temp the right side was slightly cooler than the left as I had previously read in other reviews, but I'd say 10 degrees or less once it reaches temp. The temp variation was larger when it was heating up so dont be alarmed because it evened out. Not a problem for me. Overall extremely happy with it and glad I decided on the Z grills brand. Can't wait to do some ribs tonight!
