I was hopeful this would be a great ladder, but it's just not for me. Fully extended is the (relatively) easy part, but still cumbersome, %26 each individual segment makes the entire ladder too unsteady. I don't feel safe climbing it. Retraction of each segment is more trouble than it's worth, not to mention it's really easy to pinch your fingers. I still want a hvy duty ladder for my weight (270 lbs) but I prefer something easier to handle. The strap to secure the ladder halves in place is OK, But a better designed carrying handle would be Really nice.
