This is as good as the expensive brand names. I suffer with Fibromyalgia %26 I have break through pain (I take a strong controlled substance that doesn't always help). This Equate 650mg. works very well. Unfortunately not all the time but when I take them I get some relief.

I believe in this medication. I take it everyday as directed. I'm a Nurse Practitioner %26 I recommend this to my patients with many different types of pain. My neurologist recommended this to me almost 15 years ago to take during the day for degenerative disc disease in my lumbar. The mechanism of action is correct. It starts to work in 30 minutes, can be taken on an empty stomach, and offers up to 8 hour of relief, as it has a delayed relief action. It works on arthritis, tooth, and headache; plus so much more.

It does seem to make me sleepy if I take a whole capsule. Instead, I only take about 1/2 a capsule at a time. I take a high dose of prescribed naproxen on a daily basis for chronic pain, so I have to be careful when I need the additional acetaminophen for high pain days.
