I received it and it has 5 screws missing from the base so he hard drive fell out but it wasn't damaged. The viewing area is actually 14" but the resolution is so high that the text is VERY small so it is hard to read. It is a quick little system but I am disappointed as I got it for my wife. Wish I had went ahead and got a little better system. Ya get what ya pay for.
