Our favorite basic tomato sauce!

Ragu is an amazing basic sauce that you can use for so many things! Our favorite way to use it, especially during this cold weather, is to make it into tomato soup! We add cream, heat it in the microwave, and top it with crispy fried onions (the canned kind we use in green bean casserole). It’s a great way to add leftover meat too. We add our leftover roast or chicken sometimes—yum. It’s also, of course, delicious used as a pasta sauce. We go crazy with extra onions and garlic for that. The price is super low and that makes it our favorite tomato sauce!

I'm sensitive to spicy foods but Ragu is the only one I've tasted that doesn't upset my stomach. I love the chunky style because it has good size pieces of tomatoes. The onions and garlic are just the right blend. I've been buying it for years and I won't buy anything else!
