Dee Zee Bk/Tb 12" Crossover Tool Box, Fullsize

Although they arrived a little dinged (UPS can be rough), I was able to pound out the dents easily with a heavy rubber mallet. I've got a brother in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area with similar cargo box from DeeZee, and I was willing to peruse the same at my local Pep Boys store. Jet had comparably better prices, and free ship to boot. When I was ready to install, I was able to order and receive quickly, (NO going to the auto parts store and being disappointed with wrong color, damaged, missing parts, wrong color, etc) This is what we demand when we shop online: the right part, the right fit. I admit that I modified both boxes, and installed reflective strips, etc......As a volunteer EMT, I need to keep our gear separate from my everyday life, and these boxes fit perfectly on our Dakota, and fit my needs even better. That jungle company's reviews said the box was OK, but they all arrived dented due to flimsy DZ packaging. None of the Walmart reviews mentioned damaged items, so I ordered from Walmart. Item arrived 3 days faster than stated, in perfect condition! Not using this for a truck. Mounting it to the front of my travel trailer in place of the battery box. Only a narrow truck box will fit there, so not a lot of available choices. I added a piece of 1.5 x 1.5 x 1/8 steel angle to rear floor and front floor, then cut a piece of 1/2 plywood to fit between the angle uprights. Bolted thru the plywood/angle down to the floor. Now the bottom of the box supports my weight. No issues for those heavy batteries in the trailer now!
