Dyson Ball Animal 3 Complete Upright Vacuum | Gold | New

This is my second Dyson vacuum, the first a DC25 Animal - much smaller than this model, still works to this day, and has been relegated to cleaning the garage and cars. This vacuum, and it's accessories are thee bees knees, as it fits where my smaller Dyson fits, and with all the attachments it cleans far more than the older one. My favorite attachment is a toss up - between the animal/fur adapter and the crack/crevice cleaner attachment, I find myself using this vacuum far more often, yet have a much cleaner home. The downsides - perhaps that it is a corded model, but this prevents me from having to make sure it is kept on it's charger, and it's easier to track down when someone tries to use/borrow it. I find that emptying the canister is easy, and the actual filter is simple to clean and requires little care. I am happy to have bought this vacuum, I sometimes wonder if this will be the vacuum that will out live me. Only time will tell.

I upgraded from an Animal Ball 2. I was looking for something else because I had alot of minor issues with the Ball 2. I did not expect the Ball Animal 3 to be such a difference but I was pleasantly surprised by it. My first cleaning with it filled the bin 4 times! I thought it was clean before - guess not. The suction is much more powerful. I really like the new cleaning head, it does not tangle, the switch for the height works great, it is small enough to maneuver where the old one could not and the brush is quieter. I was not really interested in the tools it came with but used most of them in the first week and they were really useful! There are also a number of small tweaks in the design made from the previous model which addresses most of the concerns I had.
