Made up of sterile gauze, this Cardinal gauze sponge helps to protect wounds from getting infected due to external factors. Measuring 2 in x 2 in, they help to seal your wound uniformly from all sides and keep it protected with just the right amount of space needed for the wound to breathe. Pure white in color, these 8 ply sterile gauze sponges provide bulk and loft while acting as a cushion for the wound. Made up of 100 percent premium-grade cotton, they do not stick to the wound and can be used for dressing, general cleaning, packing and debriding wounds. Cardinal square gauze sponges can be used in wound care, they absorb body fluids from draining wounds and help protect them from germs and bacteria.
