Toymendous Wild West Cowboy Shooter Toy with 144 Count Cap Refills, Outdoor & Indoor, Children Ages 8+

I haven't seen a gun like this since I was a child playing cops and robbers. It is pretty much as you remember it. It is made of a hard sturdy plastic and is easy to use. There are no directions but there is a pull notch in front the trigger you open and it exposes the chamber to add the caps. The toy gun comes with a fair amount of caps to use, 144 to be exact. Once loaded, you only need to pull the trigger. At times you can see the spark and some smoke when you fire. The smell really brings back some memories. The pop sound it makes is loud but not overwhelming, however, my dogs were not fans of the gun. Overall, this is a fun toy. It is also very colorful and will not be confused with a real gun. I don't mind letting my children play with toy guns however they are not permitted to aim directly at the person they are trying to shoot. I also do not like the ones that "look real", so this is a really good option for play. I would recommend this if you are looking for a toy gun.

My son received this Toymendous Wild West 8 Shooter Toy. I used to have a cap gun way back when I was a kid and I have fond memories of playing with it. My son has a nerf gun but not a cap gun. This toy was an instant hit! The caps are easy to load and there's quite alot in a package for play. The Shooter Toy even lights up in the cylinder after the cap explodes. And then there's the cap gun smell! Good memories!! P.s. This is much safer than the ones I had as a kid. Thank goodness.
