I am a short person with small hands. The length of the reacher is very good for me but the grip is too big and uncomfortable to use. I am in a chair all day and, for me, the shorter reacher is more convenient than the long ones and I like the fact that it doesn't bend in the middle. It is very handy to use to pick things off the floor or a table from a sitting position.
