Some of the other DASH seasonings were good but since there could be some sodium in or added to his food, I added the lowered sodium salt. We all need some salt in our diets. it's part of the body's electrolytes that are necessary for the heart. Check with your Doctor first. You'll need to know how much sodium you're serving your "patient". I was this person's full time caregiver and I kept an accurate amount of sodium in his food.
