  • In fall, plant the bulbs pointy end up, in deep, fertile, well draining soil in full sun to light shade. Bulbs do not like wet feet. Water during their growth period. Fertilization helps growth and natural increase by offsets. Daffodils can be left undisturbed to naturalize for years. If you cannot plant them immediately, store in a cool, airy place. When given ample sun light, water, and proper nutrition, removing the flowers as soon as they go and allowing the leaves to brown before removing, they will return for years to come with little other effort.

I just recently planted these bulbs, so I cannot comment on their blooms, but I'm very encouraged by how large, firm, and heavy they are. Very high quality bulbs at a low price.

Top Quality Bulbs

All twelve 'Goblet' Narcissus bulbs were large quality and fresh. Nothing rotten or dried out. I was really impressed with the size and freshness of the bulbs. I believe they were all single nosed bulbs. They were packed in a bag surrounded by tissue paper. I also appreciated the color printed card with a picture, growing instructions, and tips. I thought that was a nice added touch, and very professional looking. I would definitely buy Van Zyverden brand bulbs from Walmart again!
