Fun and Entertaining!

I received this product free from Mattel in exchange for my honest opinion. Our toddler is almost 3 years old. And, he is a huge fan of trains and Mickey Mouse and friends. So when I was asked to review the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Mouska Train Express Playset, I hoped my son would be excited to play with this. I was not disappointed and neither was he! As soon as the train set was delivered, we opened the package. My son was so excited to put the train together. He kept telling me, "Dada, hurry and open. It's MIckey Mouse!" I found the train set very easy to put together. In fact, I didn't have to put the track together. It was simple enough for my toddler to connect the pieces. The track comes with 4 pieces of brightly colored track that connect easily. It has an engine driven by Mickey Mouse and a trailer. As the adult, the only things I was required to do was to put the stickers on a few of the pieces and place a AAA battery in the engine. Once the battery is in the engine, you push Mickey Mouse down and the train starts around the track. There are two small packages that are included. A package can sit on a swing inside the big bridge and when the engine passes through it, the package drops into the trailer. My son loves when this happens. He has been playing with this daily. He sits for some time and plays with the buttons on each side of the track that can stop the train if pushed a certain way. And, he likes to watch the Mickey drive around and around. He uses other characters that he owns to ride around in the trailer. It has provided him with a lot of fun this weekend. I've found that the product is made of pretty durable plastic. It has made it almost a week already with some very rough play from a toddler. In my book, that's pretty good. I must say that my only criticism, and it is a minor one, is that it didn't include the AAA battery. That is just a pet peeve of mine with any of my son's toys. Other than that, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse-Mouska Train Express Playset has my toddler's approval as well as mine! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Really Fun Toy!

This is a very fun toy. My child has been really enjoying playing with it! Maybe it's because we like trains, but we love the motorization and the ability to stop on the tracks in the two spots. The surprise packages are fun and also provide some additional imagination play. Overall - this is a really solid and fun toy and we're happy to have received it! 2yo son loves this train!

My son loves Mickey and trains - this toy is perfect for him! He loves the characters at the different stops, and actually uses the motorized action for the train about as much as just pushing it around by himself saying "choo choo." This is a fun little set perfect for (in my mind) the 2-4 age range. He likes how the package drops from the Mickey ears into the train - he laughs and then puts it back on the platform. Sometimes he needs help putting it back up there, but overall this is a pretty self-sufficient toy for a 2yo. I (actually my son) would love to see more tracks made available so he can customize the route a little bit. Make sure you have a long, skinny Phillip's head screwdriver to remove the battery cover - otherwise it's kind of a pain. Other than that, it's a great set.
