Better than the dense foam sloped ramps we had been using. They are appropriately firm making them easier to use by our dogs. They take up slightly less space than the foam ramps. The cloth handle on the back may not seem like much but it makes maneuvering them easier. It would be nice if covers alone were available otherwise we might buy a spare just for the cover.
