Renthal is pleased to announce an upgraded to our R3 chain range. The new chain does away with the former O-ring and now incorporates Renthals SRS ring system (self-regulating seals) increasing chain longevity. The R3-3 chain has been upgraded to the R4 ranges proven quad riveting manufacturing process. The Rivet link has also been changed to a hollow end to facilitate easier installation that does not require a Quad Stake Rivet tool to install. Like the R3-2, a split link is still included in the box for easy track side fitment. Nitrile SRS rings help extend chain life. High carbon alloy and shot peened steel side plates for high tensile strength and maximum impact load resistance. Chamfered inner links to help reduce the chance of chain derailment. Extended bushings to reduce friction between inner and outer link plates. Shot peened solid rollers and chromed pins help to extend service life. Gold anodized side plates help prevent corrosion. Every R3-3 chain comes pre-stretched for enhanced performance. Make sure to check your owners manual for the proper application, especially if installing an SRS-ring chain on a bike originally equipped with a non SRS-ring chain.
