Know needs gas. So much better.

So much better than the two other cordless hedge trimmers I have had in the past. The stronger battery and the commercial grade metal blades are amazing. As for the switch to batteries...add up the cost of buying gas throughout one year and you'll realize you're paying for the fuel either way.

This is an excellent Pole trimmer. I also bought the extention pole that works with it because i have tall bamboo to frequently trim. This cuts through all the bamboo with no troubles at all. It is on the heavy side, though, so this one is not for a boy. I use it while I'm standing on a 15' A frame ladder. šŸ˜Ž

Works great, but gets tiring to use

Absolutely scythes through most types of hedges, and with those which are more difficult, it will still saw its way through even thick branches. The reach is awesome, allowing you to trim even very tall hedges from the ground, but after about 20 or 30 minutes holding the long trimmer up gets pretty tiring.
