Works well on sapphire watch crystal.

I ordered this set for my husband to use on his watch. He recently had the quartz crystal replaced with a sapphire crystal, which somehow acquired a light scratch. He used the lapping paste with a fine cloth (a lens cloth I think) and took his time buffing the scratch with each of the three pastes, working down to the finest. The scratch was completely removed. My husband is very happy with the result.
