If you love French dip air jus sandwiches, mix this as the direction indicates, mix in a pound of roast beef (I use the prepackaged roast beef lunch meat), and let this cook in a slow cooker, instant pot on slow cooker, or on the stove on just slightly above low. On buns layer the meat on (I prefer) provolone cheese, and serve with a small cup of the juice. I take this to family reunions and any get together and everyone thinks I spend so much time making it, and it literally takes 5 minutes.

Versatile staple to have on hand- Must have

I've been using McCormick Au Jus Gravy mix for years. It's very versatile. It can be used as intended as a sauce / dip. I like to dissolve it in a few Tbsps warm water and knead into my meatloaf along with minced onions and garlic and breadcrumbs before baking for a change in flavor. The fam loves it!! It has a hearty flavor that can be added to stews and roasts that need a little boost, or when lacking broth. Thickening is an easy fix with a little Wondra, or Cornstarch as well.

McCormack's Au Jus Gravy

This McCormack Au Jus gravy is exceptionally useful -- roast beef is a delicious family meal, and, if slow roasted at 225F, a cut like beef tenderloin will be the same desired degree of doneness throughout. But if one reheats the beef, it will cook more and loose its rare-to-medium rare doneness. Therefore, heat the McCormack Au Jus gravy and pour hot gravy over the room temp beef -- wonderful !!!
