I bought the mid-weight Poplar Head 1200D DAN turnout last year and have been very happy with it, so I purchased the heavy weight blanket this year. My horse loves to scratch on trees, posts or anything else he can find, and these blankets have held up well. And I LOVE the detachable neck cover. It make this blanket so versatile.
