The Ugly American, (Paperback)

My name is Robert and I live in Arizona. In 1961 in High School, Lane Technical HS, Chicago, Illinois American Literature class, I did a written book report on "The Ugly American" the profound aspect of the fictional (yet based on true events) ,.story has stuck with me all these years and today I'm in my late seventies and it pains me to think how America has squandered trillions of American tax dollars on corrupt foreign regimes; and the poor peoples who have to live there under mostly corrupt dicatators suffered under those conditions got nothing. Here it is now 50 years later those same peoples children grandchildren are now flooding our southern borders so we reap what we sowed. Every American person should have access to the Ugly American? Incidentally John F Kennedy was in office when the Ugly American first was published. We screwed up Cuba, many of the countries of Central and South America, Africa the Middle East And our own corrupt politicians only want to line their own corrupt pockets!
