Lesson learned: Ball lids are the only ones I buy from now on. Lesson learned: I am an experienced canner, I was given a pack of lids from a friend, so I decided to try just two of knock off brand, they distorted and didn't seal properly. Doesn't matter how much you save, it's not worth all your time and effort for nutritious food if the lids fail.

Ball and Kerr lids are the only lids I'd recommend for pressure canning. (The company is the same.) I won't take a chance on loosing jars due to lids buckling during processing. I've had issues with other company lids rusting out shortly after water bath canning tomatoes. So, I stick with Ball a d Kerr lids. It frustrating because of the costs.
