Perky-Pet Yellow Plastic Finch Tube Feeder - 1.5 lb Capacity

The Perky-Pet Finch Feeder is the best I've ever used or seen. The perches are cleverly placed to accommodate both right-side-up and upside-down feeders. The "feed" holes are surrounded by flexible scored plastic that allows cone shaped nibs to enter for a beak-full, at the same time containing the tiny Nyger seeds without them pouring out. Very clever and effective design elements. The cap prevents rain from entering from the top, although I suggest mounting under eaves to reduce moisture from getting to the Nyger seed. It has easy refill access, and a secure hanging handle. My region gets a prolific influx of brilliant yellow Golden Finches about the time summer cattails are through blooming, so I will send photos later of masses of them feeding. For now, the Purple Finches, Siskens and other local finches come and go as individuals. Notice that I have used only a few of the given perches to encourage the upside-down feeding breeds.
