I hope I never have to find out if it works as in a coyote grabbing my little dog. This was easy to adjust, and I liked that it was light in weight. At first, he didn't want to let me put it on. After a few minutes, we were out the door and on our walk. I think he strutted a little with it on. If you see a coyote, it's time to invest in one of these.
