Columbia Women's Plus Size Calico Basin Plaid Button Up Jacket

On the one hand I'm grateful that Columbia has so many plus size options that are quality and aesthetically pleasing, but on the other hand the design department in charge of sizing/fit needs a total overhaul. It's as if every item (even the same clothes in different colors) has a completely different fit. This is an ongoing issue with everything I order from Columbia. This shirt, for example, has sleeves that are about 5” too short for my arms. I can't button the sleeves and they pull so much on my arms that I couldn't keep it. The material is so thick and warm and cute, but whoever designed the sizing on this didn't have anyone try it on surely. I just bought two Sweater Weather shirts and the sizing of the camel is one full size smaller on me than the chalk colored one. I own about 10 pfg tidal tees and even the same sizes in the same shirt fit drastically different between the colors. My rain coat has sleeves that go beyond my fingertips. There's no standardization so all you can do is buy, try on, and return everything that has an odd fit. For me, that's a lot of returns because the sizing and fit issue with Columbia is a MASSIVE one. Still, I'm grateful I can dress warmly and modernly because of Columbia. I just wish the design department actually had people trying on these clothes.
