This Rain guage is very Prerty and ornate, my Mother really Liked the gift, and the rain receptacle is made of glass, which is why i purchased it. The whole thing is made of quality material the the colorful Hummingbird is Sooo Pretty ! once put into the ground, it is very low to the ground 🤔 i think i am going to drive a pipe into the ground so it sits at eye level or thereabouts is my only thing to change so the yard piece can be admired while glancing at the rain guage and the current temperature 👍 this would make an fabulous inexpensive Mother's day gift 🎁 😀
