Martha Stewart Induction Stovetop Kettle with Lid, Stainless Steel, Sage

The tea pot is has a very asthetic color and style. I'd definitely recommend it for decor or prop. I can't recommend it for functionality. Very similar to a soda can. It wasn't costly, but I'm disappointed that Ms. Stewart wouldn't slap her name on a shoddy product. It leaks, the rim is bent in so the lid tilts. The whistle is askew. No use asking for a replacement due to materials used.

I loved the look of this tea kettle but was concerned about it's durability. I expected it was not going to be an heirloom based on the price and the thinness of the metal. I thought it was worth the risk of not lasting forever because of the pros. It worked well, heated quickly and the whistle worked as intended. I liked that the handle folds down to allow easily pulling off the lid. However the metal used to attach the handle seems flimsy. Actually, all the metal seem flimsy and thin. I didn't expect that the bottom would begin to rust so quickly. Less than two months, probably used a half dozen times and rust spots are forming on the outer bottom and leaving stains on my kitchen surfaces. Unfortunately its going to have to go back. They need to come up with a more durable rust-proof steel for the bottom and then this kettle would be with it.
