It is a larger kettle than have had before but love the lightness it. Really like the large diameter opening, it makes it alot easier to see contents %26 clean. Also the stainless steel inside - makes it easy to see inside as my previous kettle (not this brand) was dark with small opening %26 did not realize the bottom coating was disolving. And unknowningly using the water! The style with its lovely curved adds such style. And having the handle being able to fold down ia the best. It allows for easier water fill and storage if needed. Thank you Martha for such thoughtful design %26 function!

This looks pretty on stove top. So much so that my SIL bought one the next day. Color, shape and style are great but unfortunately no whistling comes from mine. Not a big deal but would've liked. This is easy to wipe on outside if it gets any food splatters on it. Most importantly, holds good amount of water and boils well.

This is great and looks cute too. Handle keeps my hand from burning AND it survived the chaos of me forgetting it was on (I opened the spout so it wouldn't whistle and wake a sleeping baby). So it boiled til the water was gone and the sat on the stove another hour until my husband found it. Can't even tell it happened. Still looks and works great!
