American Cryptic Crosswords: Super Cool Crosswords

This is NOT cryptic as we know it. Cryptic puzzles are supposed to have clues within the clues. Those who do traditional (British) cryptic puzzles know what this is. They're very hard and truly cryptic. This isn't that. This is a regular crossword puzzle; nothing cryptic about it. Some of the clues are ridiculously simplistic: "In the manner of journalism" is "journalistic". I've done only two of the puzzles, and that type of clue is in there at least three times. My favorites are the Williams series, but I'm starting to buy others. There are a lot out there; this just isn't one of them.
