Overall a great value for a starter hammock set since it's lightweight and contains everything you need to get set up. I love that it includes a built in bug net. It was easy and quick enough to set up once I figured out how to tie an adequate knot on each end of the hanging straps, the end closest to the tree and the end that secures to the carabiner. Those hanging straps may not be quite long enough for my liking and I may end up replacing them with longer straps so I can be a little more choosey with which trees I choose to hang from. I'll likely get straps that have built in hooks so I do not have to tie knots into the straps. Overall, I'm glad I purchased this hammock set and look forward to using it for some relaxation!

I'm 5-10 and 150 pounds. I used it at home a few times with a metal stand. Not comfortable enough to sleep. On a campout you'd be limited to heavily treed areas. Getting into and out of clothes and bedding is difficult. You can't have all your gear in the hammock with you. No pee bottle. If it rains even a little you need a cover, but they blow in the wind much more than a tent. I haven't used it enough to know about durability. If the bottom did rip out you'd be left with nothing.
