I use this for bow hunting. It's fairly quiet going through brush. Helps hold heat in with hood and waist cinch cords while sitting in a stand. Two big pockets inside and out and two chest pockets for phone and range finder. I weigh 160 and the medium allows me to dress in layers for cold mornings . It is a light jacket. It has some kind of thumb/wrist sleeve at the cuff that feels too tight after time. Optional use for sure. It's a great pattern for fir and pine trees. Overall it's worth the purchase for me.
