An all metal keyless, ratcheting chuck incorporates carbide insets to ensure fast and easy bit replacement as well as ensuring there is no bit slippage while in use. To ensure user safety, Metabo HPT has incorporated Reactive Force Control (RFC). RFC senses tool overload and stops the tool from rotation further in instances where there may be a bit snag or an overload application. The RFC not only protects the user, but also the battery and tool motor. In addition, this brushless hammer drill comes with a bright LED, ergonomic grip, center balance design, belt hook and an on-tool battery indicator to further take your working experience to the next level. Compatible with all Metabo HPT 18V lithium-ion slide batteries.

My most powerful hammer drill. Unbelievably fast
I left a review on the kit with the 6 amp hour batteries accidentally. I bought the bare tool because I already have 14 (and counting) Hitachi 18v tools. This drill works great with the 5 amp hour MultiVolt battery. I don't know how many times in the past I've almost snapped my wrist with other drills far less powerful than this one. It hasn't happened even once since I bought this beast. I work in spaces too tight for the side handle sometimes and it's really nice to know this drill has kickback control so I don't hurt myself.
