I use this product as the chair in front of my desk. I so computer work, reading and writing, at the desk. I had a conventional desk type chair for years. it wore out. I needed a new chair. My main concern for a replacement chair was to purchase one which supported my posture generally, and my back, specifically. This chair fulfills those requirements. It is quite comfortable. I would recommend this style of chair not only for general dining applications, but also for desk work or reading uses.

Great match for my farm table. I just lost my wife she died just before our 19th wedding anniversary at the age of 45. Over the years our original chairs like the ones I bought got damaged or lost over the years. These chairs I found a hayneedle are very similar only thing I need to do is to have them stain to go with the table.
