Exceeded my expectations. This is an extremely nice wood bowl. Can be used as a salad bowl, serving bowl, or decoration. I'm not paid and this wasn't free. Honestly feels like a $99 bowl from Pottery barn or William Sonoma. You could gift this and not feel guilty.

Lovely Serving Bowl for any type of food

This wooden serving bowl is lovely and suitable for many different types of food. I gave it a light coat of vegetable oil and gave it time to soak in to give it extra protection. I prepared a salad with oil dressing in it for four people and there was no "wooden" taste, and it really accented the food well. It would work for any type of food, whether it's fruit, a small roast and vegetables, stuffing, whatever you need. It's a good size for side dishes for four adults. Very glad I purchased it and would definitely recommend.

The size is what I wanted, it will hold an entire bag of Cuties. Plenty of room for apples, bananas, your choice. The price is excellent as you can purchase the same bowl for $12.00 more on Amazon. I paid 20.00, Amazon"s price is 32.00. It's a very sturdy wooden bowl. I'm a bargin hunter this is my latest find.
