These are nicely made shorts. The fabric has the texture of traditional basketball shorts. They are little bit longer length, which is nice for little boys. They do not have a drawstring, but do have strong elastic waist. We have laundered them many times and they look just as good as they did brand new. Most dirt and stains have have come off them in the wash.
