I bought this to stand by my recliner in the living room. It came with the light bulb and was easy to assemble. It has a switch that is convenient to turn off and on the neck of the lamp turns so you can have the light over your shoulder or turn it away when not reading with it. Great little lamp to use in a dark corner. Does require assembly but that was pretty easy. My only problem was the base is not large enough to support it's stability. The lamp may tip over with any pulling on the cord when turning it on or bumping.
