These are much better than I thought they would be. The fit is perfect and they don't 'ooch' or scoot once you attach them on your steps. I especially appreciate them when those metal steps are sitting in the blazing sun and I step outside for a moment barefoot; no more burned feet! My dog likes them for the same reason. I've had to carry her up or down the stairs for her afternoon walks, because the steps get hot enough to scare her. Once I put these on, she has no issues at all with using the stairs on her own, without my assistance. I'm going to buy a third one to use on the top step, so that all my steps are covered and comfortable for both me and my dog.
