La Tourangelle White Truffle Cooking Spray, 5 Fl Oz

Great product. La Tourangelle is a trusted brand for good quality oils. This has a much more delicate flavor profile due to the fact it's white truffle vs the black truffle oil spray with its more pronounced if not aggressive flavor and aroma. I prefer this white truffle cooking spray as it doesn't overpower a dish. It's easy to use, after the dish is ready to serve a quick spray of this oil couldn't be any easier to elevate the simplest of dishes, I.e.: a white mushroom pizza, macaroni and cheese, a creamy hot soup, a soft and creamy bowl of scrambled eggs or an omelette with Brie for a cozy weekend breakfast in bed, a side of steamed or quickly sautéed veggies like spinach, mushrooms, cauliflower, or asparagus; a generous dollop of mashed potatoes, a grilled Swiss mushroom burger or even a hot bowl of lightly salted and unbuttered popcorn. Only use this spray oil as a finishing oil. Don't cook with this spray oil as the flavor will dissipate during the cooking process. Make sure to always put the cap back on tightly and store in a dark cabinet away from the stove. It will quickly go rancid otherwise. For the most part Walmart has the best price unless it's on sale elsewhere. As mentioned, La Tourangelle is a trusted brand for good quality oils. I've been using this brand for over 20 years and enjoy many of their other oils especially their roasted walnut oil. With Thanksgiving around the corner, it's a staple item that I use during the holidays to help quickly elevate any vegetable without a fuss. Like last year, I will be spraying this roasted walnut oil onto a a salad of baby spinach, lightly grilled figs, goat cheese, freshly toasted walnuts with a splash of white balsamic vinegar that complements the roasted walnut oil perfectly. If you don't have white balsamic vinegar on hand just use any low acid vinegar like a rice wine vinegar. I'm sure the truffle oil would also work well. Enjoy!
