Shape

Playing a year now. First paddle was wooden then on to The Onix Evoke. It's light but don't feel a loss for power. Played recreationally a lot of ping pong as a kid and some tennis and racquetball so went for the shape which is similar. While I'm sure it doesn't make a difference, the typical paddles look awkward.

Disappointed

I bought this paddle for my son as a Christmas present. He is a college student and only played with it a few times. He hit an overhead smash and the paddle broke. Very disappointed as he only had it 4 months and only played 3 or 4 times with it.

Hi, Troy. We are sorry to hear that your son's Evoke Tear Drop broke during play. That is definitely not the smash hit you want while you are cooking at the kitchen! If you have not already done so, please reach email Pickleball@EscaladeSports.com or call 1-800-467-1421 (Monday-Friday 8AM - 5PM Central Time) so we can look into this further.
