American Made

After reading the reviews on other products, I decided to try American made. This aerator is over built for the job if that's possible. The welding is thick and the quality of construction is excellent. I used it on a neglected, hard packed, rutted yard. Full of water, it sank to the drum and started smoothing the ruts. In 4 hours of work, I ran over a tree trunk, hit rocks, made some dumb sharp turns, backed up with it down and still didn't break it. To the guys who built this aerator, good job.

No complaints. Seems to work

No complaints. Seems to work really well. The plug could be designed better. It leaks without a good sealer. I guess if I had to make one More complaint is if you have tall tires such as turf tires that I do, You can get in a situation depending on the ground undulation, where the drum will not hit the ground. I have extended the top link quite a bit and it can still happen. I have a few swales I’ve made that have grass on them and there are spots where I cannot get the drum to hit the ground without turning around. (See photo example). That said these two minor complaints didn’t lower the rating. I have it 5 stars due to cost, delivery, easy to assemble and normal operation. It’s very easy to install and remove with the stand and the fact that the lower pin connections can be removed.

I gave this a 5.

I gave this a 5. The build is rugged and I am very happy to see that the pillar blocks bearings have grease fittings! 2 things need addressing at the factory: 1) In order to mount the 3 point bracket to the frame I had to flush 1 weld, otherwise the bolt holes will not line up. 2) I of the spikes had a hole(small) thru the drum by the weld that leaks when the drum is filled up. I welded that up. Long story short, so far very happy. I use this behind a Kubota B2920 with no problems. Nice job guy's!
