Around the late nineteenth century was Alicandri in Pescara in study of Basilio Cascella, with whom he had established a fruitful artistic collaboration that result in the creation of an establishment litho. The lithographic activity, practiced by the entire circle cascelliana basically as a source of income, it became the expression of a particular conception of art, which led its exponents, including precisely the Cascella and Alicandri, to be involved in the debate that characterized the end of century on the artistic value of such products inside the world of painting and of photography.
