Outback, FM80-150VDC MPPT Charge Controller, 80A, 150VDC, 12/24/48/60VDC, FM80 Outback Power FLEXmax charge controllers are one of the most effective and reliable charge controllers on the market. Compared to stock PWM controllers and other forms of chargers, OutBack's advanced MPPT algorithm provides up to 30% more power to your batteries. The MPPT function aids the device in determining the best voltage and current combination to send to your batteries in order to optimize the amount of power it can send. This helps you to build a more compact solar array that uses a higher voltage than your battery system voltage, in addition to better power and performance. The FM80 has an integrated 80-character display that displays the most recent device status as well as 128-day data logs. An optional MATE system monitor and controller can be mounted for more advanced functionality and configuration. If you're using an Outback inverter, you can use a HUB communications manager to link the FM80 and the inverter to a single MATE3 controller. With new Outback inverters, only the MATE3 controller is compatible.
