Nilight Side Shooter Amber LED Light Bar/Pods 2PCS 6.5 Inch 60W Flood Spot Beam Combo Fog/Driving Light Work Light for Truck ATV UTV Boat, 2 Years Warranty

I installed these 6" Side Shooter LED amber lights on my 2023 RAV4 Prime using the Universal License Front Plate Mount Bracket. I really did not want to drill any extra holes in the grill or front bumper. So I mounted the Universal License Front Plate Mount Bracket, added some 3M VHB tape on it (to further reinforce the bracket to the bumper) and installed longer anodized screws into the existing license plate holes in the front bumper. Then I mounted the existing plastic license plate holder to the Universal License Front Plate Mount Bracket (this required drilling two holes in the Universal Plate Mount Bracket) and mounted my license plate to it. I made a custom harness with weather proof Deutsch connectors to be able to remove the lights if necessary. I also did not want to drill holes through the firewall to route my wires to a switch. Instead I opted to use a wireless remote box connected to my wiring harness and the fuse box, I turn the Amber Side Shooter's off and on with my keyfob. I am happy with the results. My Rav4 Prime has very bright stock LED headlights that are great in most conditions but when the weather gets foggy the headlights tend to blend in with the fog and the depth of range disappears. The lower optioned RAV4's have the round clear driving lights which makes replacing the clear driving light with a set of amber fog lights an easy swap. Unfortunately for me the Prime has vertical LED Accent lights which look pretty nice but makes it a pain to install amber fog lights in that factory location. These lights while I wish could have been hidden behind the grill work very well. They seem to be manufactured well and the amber color is great in the fog. I aimed the lights at the lowest position so the beam pattern is low and wide which is just what I was looking for. It certainly shows up the front and sides in the foggy weather. I am sure these will benefit me in the rain and snow as well as the fog.
