Originally developed for cows as a veterinary remedy, generations of Vermonters have used Bag Balm to soothe dry, chapped hands . A popular dairy cattle ointment for over 90 years. Helps to heal cuts, abrasions, scrapes, rash and chapping. Packed in its classic collectable green and red tin can . The original ointment for soothing chapped skin, small scrapes and cuts. Ideal for horses, cattle, dogs, cats, pets or other domestic animals suffering from occasional skin irritations .
INGREDIENTS:
8-Hydroxyquinoline Sulfate 0. 3% in a Petrolatum, Lanolin Base.
DIRECTIONS:
Massage thoroughly and allow ointment to remain for full softening effect. Special Directions: Bag Balm contains lanolin and stays on to provide moisturizing and softening. For pets, apply Bag Balm liberally to the affected area. For use on cows, thoroughly wash treated teats and udder with separate towels before each milking. To avoid contamination after each milking, bathe the udder with plenty of hot water, strip milk out and dry skin. Apply Bag Balm freely and massage gently with this proven ointment twice daily. This product contains no alcohol. For chapped conditions and superficial abrasions. After each milking, apply thoroughly and allow coating to remain on surface. Best Ever
My mother used this so I tried it. Now for years I've used it and many of my friends do too. It is the best thing for my dry , cracked feet (be sure to wear slippers after you put it on...very greasy.). I have also used it on my hands and face. It clears up dry skin and break outs even though it's greasy. Can't live without it!!
